So I wanted a lilac pastel purple but got a deep violet and needed to fade it out some. I'm not a very patient person lol----- therefore I wanted a quick way to strip some levels off. However, before the purple, I was silver. Getting to silver was extremely damaging to my hair. I had dark brown hair and stripped it 4 times. I refuse to strip it anymore. So I went this direction, instead, to achieve lighter tones. The advice around the block, to achieve pastel, is mixing a purple dye with a white conditioner. I did this however the purple still came out very vibrant. I watched so many videos on getting lilac and then fading hair and it was tiring so I wanted to do a straight-forward video on how I decided to do this. This also explains my seemingly non-friendly attitude ^_^ ... I was trying to avoid rambling which I love doing. I got my semi-permanent dyes from Sallys: Lavender by Color Brillance Lilac by Argan Oil Perfect Intensity Items used to fade hair: Baking Soda Dandruff Shampoo I left mine in for about 45 min to an Hour.
