Halloween is right around the corner and even though I do not plan on partying this year, I could not pass up the chance to put together some sort of costume. LEELA DIY EYE : Supplies: Protective Mask Black Pipe Cleaners Toy Gun (preferably the most futuristic one) Black and Tan Felt Fabric/Paper Hot Glue Foam Cups for Arts and Crafts ----------- Wardrobe ---------------- White tank top and Black Boots I recently colored my hair purple so I wanted to take advantage of that by dressing up as a character with purple hair. I decided to be LEELA from Futurama. I looked online for DIY costumes but found little to none. I didn't know how exactly to pull off having one eye. Most people painted an eye on their face while others cut out an eyeball and strapped it on. I was wanting a more dimensional eye. The protective eye mask has a dome shape and costed me 98 cents for 5. I cut a triangle where my nose goes so that it lays on my face better. I forgot to mention that in the video. Toy guns run about 4-5 dollars at Target. You can get creative either way and tweak your Leela Costume.
